What you'll do

• Verify exam requests and orders
• identify and prepare patients and obtain medical histories
• administer IV contrast according to protocols
• evaluate image quality and consult radiologists as needed
• perform patient care functions and report condition changes
• perform CT scans and assist radiologists or physician assistants during invasive procedures
• follow sterile technique, infection-control, and radiation-safety practices
• document procedures and maintain the work area.
