The operator monitors wastewater treatment, thermal oxidizers, utilities, and site-generated waste to support permit compliance and safe operations. The role also performs analyses, maintains records, coordinates waste handling and equipment maintenance, and may provide coverage on other shifts, including nights and days.

What you'll do

  • Monitor, troubleshoot, record, and analyze wastewater treatment
  • monitor thermal oxidizers and assist with preventive maintenance
  • manage hazardous and nonhazardous waste in accordance with regulations
  • monitor utilities and assist with restarts after outages
  • collect stormwater and wastewater samples
  • coordinate laboratory analysis and equipment repairs
  • maintain current procedures and compliance documentation
  • support safety inspections and spill cleanup.
