Dispensing Nurse

What you'll do

• Observe and assess physical and chemical dependency concerns
• dispense NTP medications daily using the AVATAR system
• order medications and supplies
• take admission vitals, administer TB tests, collect blood draws, and gather urine specimens
• respond to staff questions about clients and dosing
• process courtesy-dose requests
• document physician orders and maintain AVATAR records
• prepare daily dosing reports
• assist with peer review and client files
• and provide nursing coverage as needed.
