This role supports the maintenance team at Uline’s 1.2 million square-foot warehouse facility in Plainfield, CT. This role exists to ensure that warehouse machinery operates at peak performance. The Mechanic is responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment, managing parts inventory, and adhering to safety protocols to support efficient warehouse operations.
What you'll do
- Maintain and repair warehouse equipment such as pickers, forklifts, conveyor systems, wrappers, banders and sealed air pillow machines.
- Keep detailed parts inventory and maintenance / repair records.
- Work safely using proper protective equipment and lockout / tagout (LOTO).
