To perform radiologic procedures and utilize x-ray equipment to produce images of the body for the diagnosis and treatment of diseases or injuries, while ensuring optimum patient care and safety. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, radiation physics and protection, and the principles of imaging. Skill in the use of imaging equipment.
