The CT Technologist is responsible for performing CT procedures in accordance with established standards and policies, optimizing radiation use, and demonstrating knowledge of radiographic sciences and patient care.

What you'll do

• Perform CT procedures in accordance with standards and practice set forth by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology and Hospital Policies and Procedures.
• Optimize the use of radiation by utilizing the concepts of Image Gently and Image Wisely.
• Demonstrate knowledge of human structure and functions, patient care/safety, positioning, principles of radiographic sciences, radiation protection, medication safety (contrast) and specialized techniques.
• Maintain professional judgment and conduct that is complimentary of the ARRT Code of Ethics and St.
• David's Healthcare Values.

What we're looking for

Education

Graduate of an American Medical Association approved program in Radiologic Technology; and CT curriculum covering 3 semester hours of Sectional Anatomy; or 16 hours post graduate CEU’s Cross Sectional Anatomy

Experience

1 year experience performing Computed Tomography procedures preferred
