The Registered Nurse role is onsite at school locations in Gibsonton, FL, and Riverview, FL, with required floating between the two sites. What you'll do
- Provide skilled nursing care according to individualized healthcare plans and physician orders
- administer prescribed medications
- perform nursing procedures such as tracheostomy care, suctioning, oxygen administration, catheterization, feeding-tube care, and dressing changes
- monitor students with acute and chronic conditions and respond to emergencies using CPR/AED and First Aid
- operate specialized medical equipment
- document care and collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers. Requires at least two years of pediatric healthcare experience and an active Florida or multistate RN license, plus BLS or CPR certification.
