The Crane Service Technician — Shop role is onsite in Milwaukee, WI; compensation is $30–$48 per hour. The technician works in-shop at Giuffre Bros. Cranes Inc. inspecting, maintaining, and repairing cranes and related equipment. The role keeps boom trucks, cranes, telehandlers, and other material-handling equipment safe and operational through troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, repairs, testing, and accurate service documentation.

What you'll do

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain boom trucks, cranes, telehandlers, manlifts, and material-handling equipment
• perform mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical repairs
• inspect cranes, booms, winches, and attachments
• conduct preventive maintenance, scheduled service, and annual crane inspections
• interpret schematics, diagrams, and OEM manuals
• perform load and operational testing
• complete reports and work orders
• communicate findings
• maintain a safe shop
• and provide field-service or emergency-breakdown support as needed.

Why this role

Five or more years of crane, boom truck, heavy equipment, hydraulic, diesel, or industrial maintenance service experience required. OEM training or certification (Manitex, Terex, Genie) is required or must be completed upon hire. CDL and NCCCO knowledge are a plus.
