What you'll do

• Prepare the injection room
• administer allergy injections
• restock and order supplies
• complete daily charge logs and collect copays
• reorder and organize vials
• log refrigerator temperatures
• monitor shot cards and discard expired vials
• ensure consent forms are signed and explain policies
• educate patients about first-injection procedures
• follow HIPAA policies
• remain for 30 minutes after the last injection before lunch or end of day
• check emergency medications and manage emergency procedures.
