Activities Assistant

The Activities Assistant role is onsite in Marion, MA, with pay of $16–$19 per hour. Sippican Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center provides a caring setting for patients and residents. The assistant helps the Activities Director plan and deliver programs that address patients’ recreational, physical, intellectual, spiritual, and social needs. Documentation, individual visits, and support for participation contribute to patient engagement and well-being.

What you'll do

• Assist with planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating activity programs including entertainment, exercise, relaxation, and education
• chart patient progress and behavior
• escort patients to activities
• visit patients who cannot or do not wish to join group activities
• assist with evacuation
• communicate and work with the interdisciplinary team.
