The Toddler Lead Teacher works onsite in Richmond, TX, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Pay is $14–$16 per hour. Ivy Kids is an early childhood education center focused on a safe, nurturing environment and children’s learning, growth, and development. The teacher plans and implements classroom curriculum, supports children’s care and learning, maintains developmental records and assessments, and coordinates assistant teachers. The role also communicates with parents and the director and follows classroom health, safety, and sanitation procedures.

What you'll do

• Plan and implement curriculum activities
• maintain developmental, accident, anecdotal, and attendance records
• ensure ASQs are completed on time
• communicate daily with parents through the parent app
• attend meetings and training
• assist with training new staff
• report significant concerns to the director
• follow critical and infant-care procedures
• respond appropriately to emergencies and administer CPR or first aid if needed
• maintain equipment and sanitation
• keep classroom and play areas safe and clean.
