Senior Manager, Special Operations

The Senior Manager, Special Operations role is onsite in Chicago, IL. Base salary is $135,000–$145,000 per year, with eligibility for performance-based bonuses and equity. Farmer’s Fridge makes fresh, healthy, ready-to-eat meals and snacks accessible through vending machines, wholesale partners, and office pantry solutions. Reporting to the Director of Special Operations, this role addresses complex supply-chain challenges and leads improvement initiatives to strengthen operational execution, service levels, productivity, quality, and cost across teams.

What you'll do

• Solve operational and business challenges across the supply chain
• conduct root-cause analysis and develop sustainable solutions
• lead continuous-improvement initiatives, corrective-action plans, and cross-functional projects
• build project plans, timelines, milestones, and governance
• coordinate teams, manage risks, and drive accountability
• partner with functional leaders to improve performance
• provide temporary leadership and operational support when needed
• remove execution barriers and establish lasting process improvements
• travel to operating locations as needed.

Why this role
