The Preschool Aftercare Team Member role is onsite in Ashburn, VA, with primarily afternoon hours from 3:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Pay is $15–$20 per hour. Virginia Academy serves Community Church’s mission by preparing students through faith, scholarship, and purpose. The team member provides after-school care and supervision, engages students in scheduled activities, and helps maintain a safe, supportive classroom environment. The role supports students’ well-being and development while communicating with families and collaborating with school staff.

What you'll do

• Provide proactive care and supervision
• engage students in scheduled activities while following safety precautions
• report injuries and serious incidents
• collaborate with teachers and staff
• maintain classroom attendance
• use RenWeb or Brightwheel for timely student and parent reporting
• provide lesson plans when requested
• attend school and student events as required or possible.
