Field Data Technician - Kentucky

Job overview

Compensation is $4–$5 per year. The Field Data Technician is an onsite role based in Kentucky, supporting Osmose Utilities Services' electric utility and telecommunications infrastructure projects. This role exists to collect detailed technical information about utility facilities through outdoor field work. The technician is responsible for hiking between utility poles, capturing accurate data, and ensuring project goals are met safely and efficiently.

What you'll do

• Work in an outdoor environment to collect field data supporting fiber optic cable design
• submit organized data including maps and digital images
• operate and maintain tablet computers and measuring tools
• communicate daily with project management
• work safely and independently.
