Inventory and Receiving Specialist — First Shift

The Inventory and Receiving Specialist role is onsite in Birmingham, AL, with occasional travel to Oxford and Gadsden, AL. The schedule is Monday–Friday, first shift. Pay is $18–$20 per hour, depending on experience. Mileage is paid for travel to additional locations. The specialist receives, organizes, tracks, and distributes inventory and materials while maintaining accurate records. The work helps ensure materials are available to internal departments and supports orderly warehouse and shipping operations.

What you'll do

• Receive, inspect, and organize incoming materials and shipments
• verify items and quantities against packing slips and purchase orders
• maintain inventory records and assist with counts
• pull, stage, and distribute materials
• maintain an orderly warehouse area
• assist with shipping preparation
• communicate inventory needs to internal departments
• travel occasionally to Oxford and Gadsden
• load, unload, and move materials safely.
