NPI Project Manager

Job overview

The NPI Project Manager role is onsite in Rancho Cordova, CA, with compensation of $110,000–$150,000 per year. The position leads new product introduction programs at Vantedge Medical's Rancho Cordova manufacturing site, which produces medical capital equipment and related components. The project manager coordinates cross-functional teams and manages schedules, resources, risks, and launch issues from quote support through production transition. The role helps ensure new products meet required quality, cost, and production-rate goals and also leads site expansion and capacity projects.

What you'll do

• Lead NPI programs from quote handoff through production transition
• establish launch success criteria with Operations, Quality, and Engineering
• maintain schedules, milestones, budgets, resource plans, and risk registers
• identify and address schedule, cost, quality, and capacity risks
• coordinate cross-functional teams
• support quoting with design-for-manufacturability input
• verify production resources and supplier capacity
• track drawings, revisions, specifications, and purchase orders
• monitor launch costs
• complete manufacturing engineering tasks as needed
• support trial runs and troubleshooting
• lead site growth projects and equipment installations
• report project status.
