Senior Automation Engineer

Job overview

The Senior Automation Engineer role is onsite in East Bend, NC. Compensation is $90,000–$160,000 per year. The role reports to Vizint’s management team and supports industrial automation projects. This hands-on engineering and leadership position develops and configures automation systems while helping project teams deliver work on schedule and within project requirements. It may also involve project-team management, monitoring, and reporting, and requires the ability to support multiple projects. Domestic travel may be up to 25%.

What you'll do

• Develop, design, and configure systems that automate manufacturing processes
• architect industrial control systems
• communicate with clients
• review technical project documentation for consistency with budget and planning
• identify project priorities and risks
• plan resource mobilization
• write or supervise project documentation
• coordinate engineering activities and interfaces
• review proposals
• support customers and multiple projects.
