Millwright – Asphalt and Emulsions Maintenance

Job overview

The Millwright role is onsite in Ennis, TX, with regional support travel of up to 75%. Pay is $31.50–$47.00 per hour, with an additional $5 per hour travel premium when working outside the Ennis shop. Ergon’s Corporate Maintenance department supports asphalt and emulsions facilities with routine maintenance and project work. The millwright services, repairs, troubleshoots, and maintains rotating and mechanical equipment across Ergon facilities. The role also teaches equipment alignment, maintains service records, and supports safe, cooperative maintenance work.

What you'll do

• Service, repair, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance on rotating and mechanical equipment
• perform and teach alignment of pumps, gearboxes, motors, and belt-driven systems
• maintain service and repair records
• comply with safety procedures and regulations
• work cooperatively with customers, coworkers, and associates
• assist others with tasks outside normal duties when applicable.
