The Payment Processor role is onsite in Horseheads, NY. Pay is $17.00 per hour. It supports client requirements and regulatory compliance through transaction processing, reconciliation, research, and documentation.

What you'll do

• Retrieve payments and documents from a safe using dual controls
• process cash, check, and mail-in payments
• post returned checks
• process payment requests and refunds
• process permits and respond to permit inquiries
• enter and maintain client data
• secure payments and documents
• scan and reconcile citations
• sort, log, and distribute mail
• reconcile payments to posting and deposit files
• investigate discrepancies
• process deposits
• archive mail
• support procedural and system updates and internal training.
