Field Service Technician (FSR3)

Job overview

The Field Service Technician (FSR3) role is based in Irving, TX, with frequent travel to customer sites and JDC locations across the country. Pay is $90,000–$140,000 per year. JDC Power Systems supports customers’ field operations involving power systems and industrial controls. The technician troubleshoots, maintains, and repairs electrical systems and equipment, supports startups and commissioning, and helps minimize customer downtime. The role also documents service work, provides basic customer training, and follows safety requirements at industrial sites.

What you'll do

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment, including transformers, circuit breakers, switchgear, and PLC controls
• conduct diagnostics
