HVAC/R Service Technician

Job overview

The HVAC/R Service Technician role is onsite in Jacksonville, FL. Pay is $32–$55 per hour, depending on experience. CoolSys serves customers in the HVAC and refrigeration industry. The technician repairs, overhauls, and maintains refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment to meet customer needs safely and on time. The role contributes to reliable customer equipment operation through diagnostics, preventive maintenance, installation support, and service documentation.

What you'll do

• Repair and overhaul compressors, pumps, air handlers, and electrical and mechanical controls
• perform general repairs on refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment
• diagnose malfunctions and operating deficiencies and perform preventive maintenance
• test systems and components
• maintain work-history records
• process job tickets and work orders
• pick up, deliver, and install cases
• perform minor construction and remodeling work, including installation startups
• drive a company vehicle safely
• perform other assigned duties.
