Psychiatrist

The Psychiatrist role is onsite in Washington, DC. Compensation is $175 per hour. The psychiatrist supports Creative Pathways’ day-to-day medical operations and behavioral health programs. The role provides psychiatric assessments and addresses clients’ psychiatric and medication needs while overseeing clinical quality, documentation, staff development, and program outcomes. It also works with leadership on service plans, compliance, and program improvement.

What you'll do

• Conduct psychiatric intake assessments
• review client files, treatment plans, and medical reports
• address clients’ psychiatric and medication needs
• review and approve service plans
• train staff on psychopharmacology, assessment, and diagnosis
• support program development and outcome monitoring
• oversee clinical and administrative staff supervision
• ensure licensing, accreditation, and quality standards
• coordinate with leadership on discharge protocols and clinical recommendations.
