Maintenance Technician — The Sanderling

The Maintenance Technician position is onsite in Johns Island, SC, with pay of $22 per hour. The technician maintains the property’s buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas to meet standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and functionality. By completing service requests, preparing apartments for move-in, and addressing upkeep and safety needs, the role supports residents and property operations.

What you'll do

• Complete resident work orders within 24 to 48 hours and perform routine repairs
• prepare vacant apartments for leasing and move-ins
• track maintenance supplies and document work
• maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities
• support cost control by repairing parts when possible and using supplies appropriately
• may inspect contractor and vendor work
• participate in safety meetings and report incidents
• conduct property inspections and communicate maintenance needs.
