CDL-A Driver – Northern Nevada Regional Route

Job overview

The CDL-A Driver role is an onsite, full-time regional driving position based out of Sparks, NV, with drivers recruited from Fernley, Fallon, Sparks, and Reno. Pay includes $800 per week during training, a $1,000 weekly guarantee for the first three months solo, and an average of $1,300 per week. American Driver describes a western regional route with drivers home every two weeks. The driver transports freight across states west of the Mississippi using drop-and-hook, live-load, and preload operations. New CDL school graduates with at least 120 training hours may be hired and trained on the job; drivers complete orientation and mentor-led training before receiving an assigned truck.

What you'll do

• Drive a regional route across states west of the Mississippi

• train with a mentor for 4–6 weeks
• maintain logs and plan trips and fueling
• meet CDL, driving-record, and screening requirements.
