The IT Help Desk Technician I role is onsite at Centivo’s Buffalo, NY office. Pay is $27.89–$30.29 per hour. The technician serves as a first point of contact for internal team members and partners, resolving Level 1 technical issues and escalating more complex requests. The role maintains and deploys hardware, software, accounts, and network resources to support daily operations and employee onboarding.

What you'll do

• Monitor ticket queue, inbox, and phone and respond to requests
• deploy laptops and accessories and recover assets after departures
• set up accounts and onboard employees in office and remotely
• document requests and incidents in the ticketing system
• diagnose and resolve Level 1 issues and escalate Level 2 and Level 3 issues
• coordinate system upgrades with the outsourced IT partner
• maintain Entra accounts and permissions
• support network resources including servers, firewalls, wireless networks, email, and VPN appliances
• deliver systems training and end-user software support
• install, repair, and maintain hardware and equipment.

Why this role

Associate’s degree or equivalent experience required; three years of Microsoft Windows desktop support and two years each with Microsoft Office 365/Entra and network/security infrastructure required.
