The Director, Employee Relations role is onsite in Charlotte, NC. Compensation is $155,000–$175,000 per year, with bonus potential. The director leads Amerit Fleet Solutions’ Employee Relations function, supporting a multi-site, field-based workforce. The role establishes strategy and operating standards for employee relations, oversees complex investigations and agency charge responses, and serves as the primary connection to Legal on ER matters. It also leads the ER team and partners with People Business Partners and operational leaders to promote consistent, well-documented, and legally sound outcomes.

What you'll do

• Lead and develop a five-person Employee Relations team
• set caseload standards, quality expectations, and escalation criteria
• oversee complex and high-risk investigations
• review findings and documentation
• partner with Legal and outside counsel
• coordinate with Safety, Compliance, business leaders, and People Business Partners
• track case trends and outcomes
• maintain ER policies
• lead responses to EEOC and other agency complaints.
