Preschool Teacher

The Preschool Teacher role is onsite in South Jordan, UT, with compensation of $14.20–$18.46 per hour. The teacher supports daily classroom operations and Cadence Education programs. Working under the School Director and Lead Teacher, the role helps provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom that supports children’s physical, social, emotional, developmental, and behavioral needs. The teacher contributes to curriculum delivery, classroom routines, family relationships, and safety and licensing compliance.

What you'll do

• Support an inclusive classroom and welcoming relationships with children and families
• respond to individual developmental, behavioral, cultural, and learning needs, including following IEPs and behavioral plans as directed
• support the Lead Teacher with developmentally appropriate curriculum and Cadence Signature Programs
• communicate with families, coworkers, and leadership
• follow safety and supervision procedures and document incidents
• support child behavior management
• participate in required meetings, training, and professional development.

Why this role

Associate or bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or a related field is preferred but not required if state licensing requirements are met. Schedules may vary and are not guaranteed to be eight-hour shifts.
