Computer Security Systems Specialist II

The Computer Security Systems Specialist II role is onsite at Marine Corps Base Hawaii in Kaneohe, HI. Compensation is $80,000–$100,000 per year. The position supports Render’s Naval Air Warfare Center team and its IT networking, system administration, and communications initiatives. The specialist maintains and secures network and system environments supporting ongoing operations and future mission requirements. The role combines network engineering, Windows and Linux administration, virtualization, vulnerability assessment, compliance, documentation, technology refreshes, and technical mentorship.

What you'll do

• Design, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot IP networks and network security equipment
• administer Windows domains and Active Directory
• manage Linux servers
• implement and maintain virtualization infrastructure
• conduct vulnerability scans and enforce DISA STIG compliance
• monitor and maintain security measures
• document technical data packages, wiring, cabling layouts, and configuration baselines
• lead technology refreshes, hardware swaps, and lifecycle upgrades
• mentor and oversee subordinate technical personnel.
