Staff Accountant

What you'll do

• Prepare routine journal entries, accrual and prepaid schedules, and workpapers
• perform bank, credit-card, and balance-sheet reconciliations
• process accounts payable and review expense reports
• maintain fixed-asset and depreciation schedules
• assist with accounts receivable, cash application, and collections
• maintain contract and project data
• prepare draft invoices and compile cost data
• review timekeeping and labor distribution
• maintain audit-ready documentation
• support audits, internal controls, accounting-system improvements, and recurring Excel reports.
