Process Development Technician II

Job overview

The Process Development Technician II role is onsite in Osseo, MN, with compensation of $27–$33 per hour, depending on skills and experience. The technician supports Nextern’s medical-device product development, process optimization, and technology transfer work. The role builds products through product-realization phases and helps develop, optimize, and transfer manufacturing processes. It contributes hands-on technical work, equipment and fixture support, measurement, and procedure development to Nextern’s work with OEMs, clinicians, and innovators.

What you'll do

• Build products through product-realization phases in cleanroom and general manufacturing environments
• assist with fixture design and equipment procurement
• install and maintain equipment and fixtures
• use manual or automated measurement tools
• draft and optimize manufacturing procedures
• solve process problems and apply cause-and-effect understanding.

Why this role

Requires a high school diploma or GED, 5+ years of process development technician experience, cleanroom experience, and mechanical or electrical production experience. Medical component or device manufacturing experience is preferred.
