What you'll do

• Assist with bathing, oral hygiene, dressing, toileting, feeding, and other care-plan tasks
• take and record vital signs when ordered and competency requirements are met
• use safe transfer and ambulation techniques
• assist with exercises and range-of-motion activities as ordered and within demonstrated competency
• do patient laundry
• support safe equipment use and home-safety practices
• recognize emergencies
• communicate with clients, families, caregivers, and the office
• document patient condition and report changes to the assigned nurse supervisor.
