The Early Childhood Program Leader — Junior Explorers is an onsite role in Excelsior, MN, paying $22.60 per hour. The role is with Minnetonka Community Education’s preschool program for children ages 3–5. The leader guides daily activities and mentors program assistants and aides in a safe, engaging environment. The role supports children’s well-being and development while maintaining attendance records, communicating with families, and coordinating program spaces and activities.

What you'll do

• Supervise and guide children
• manage program spaces

• direct Program Assistants and Program Aides
• create developmentally appropriate activities
• maintain a safe and caring environment
• use the site tracking system and record attendance in Eleyo
• support children during programming and community field trips
• build positive relationships with parents
• maintain confidentiality and professionalism
• attend monthly staff meetings.
