Electrical Project Manager

Job overview

The Electrical Project Manager role is onsite at the company office in San Diego, CA. Pay is $115,000–$140,000 per year, with a discretionary bonus. The role manages commercial electrical construction projects from conceptual development through closeout. The project manager owns project financial performance and coordinates schedules, documentation, field support, and project partners to deliver electrical and building systems work in compliance with applicable codes and regulations.

What you'll do

• Manage project budgets, cost tracking, schedule of values, and billing
• price and negotiate change orders
• prepare estimates and progress reports
• oversee project organization, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation
• review contract and bid documents
• manage procurement and manpower planning
• ensure code and regulatory compliance
• manage submittals, RFIs, permits, insurance, bonding, and correspondence
• coordinate with owners, contractors, design professionals, and subcontractors
• support field leadership.
