What you'll do

• Hire, train, supervise, and assign Wellness Department team members
• create staffing schedules that meet state guidelines
• communicate and enforce policies and procedures
• direct elder service plans from move-in to move-out and complete required assessments and evaluations
• lead quality assurance tracking and corrective follow-up
• perform licensed nurse tasks and medication passes within the scope allowed by state law
• coordinate with therapy, home health, and hospice providers
• supervise medication administration or assist with self-administration programs as required by law
• manage department financial goals and budgets
• monitor state regulations and compliance. May act in the Administrator’s absence if necessary.
