Construction Foreman — Concrete & Masonry

Job overview

The Construction Foreman role is onsite in Tampa, FL, at field jobsites. Compensation is $28–$35 per hour, depending on experience. Velocity Construction is seeking a hands-on field leader for its construction projects. The foreman leads crews and works alongside them to keep concrete and masonry projects safe, productive, and on schedule. The role coordinates labor, materials, equipment, and jobsite communication from setup through completion.

What you'll do

• Supervise, coordinate, and work alongside field crews
• plan and assign daily work
• read construction plans and specifications
• perform and verify measurements, layout, elevations, and grades
• oversee concrete preparation, forming, reinforcement, placement, finishing, and masonry work
• coordinate deliveries, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and manpower
• monitor quality and safety
• track progress, hours, materials, and jobsite conditions
• train and direct crew members.

Why this role

Strong hands-on concrete experience is required; masonry/CMU experience is strongly preferred. Three to five or more years of commercial construction experience is preferred.
