Job overview

The Caregiver role is based in Vienna, VA, with work in the client’s home and travel throughout the agency’s northern Virginia service area; compensation is $19–$22 per hour. Always Family HomeCare provides personal and companion care to an elderly client returning home after a hip fracture. The caregiver assists with personal care, meals, household tasks, and companionship while following the RN Supervisor’s instructions and reporting observations. The role supports the client’s safety and daily needs during recovery at home.

What you'll do

• Follow the RN Supervisor’s instructions
• assist with bathing, oral care, dressing, turning in bed, and eating
• prepare food
• perform errands, light housekeeping, laundry, and dishwashing
• observe and report home safety hazards and changes in the client’s condition
• attend staff meetings and annual in-services
• and report complaints or abnormal findings to the RN Supervisor.

Why this role
