Inventory Management Specialist

The Inventory Management Specialist role is onsite in Anchorage, AK, supporting the Brown Jug Northern Lights and Spenard stores. Compensation is $20–$23 per hour. Brown Jug is a retailer of wine, beer, and spirits focused on convenience, selection, and customer service. The specialist receives and tracks inventory while also assisting customers and maintaining store readiness. Accurate counts, organized records, stocking, and merchandising help ensure products are available and the store can serve customers effectively.

What you'll do

• Receive shipments and verify item and cost accuracy
• complete cycle counts, inventory inquiries, and discrepancy corrections. Create purchase orders and work with vendors, merchandisers, and drivers. Stock shelves and coolers, participate in merchandising and promotions, complete customer transactions, follow cash-handling procedures, and perform applicable opening, closing, maintenance, and cleaning tasks.
