The Associate Veterinarian role is onsite in Santa Barbara, CA. The stated salary is $160,000–$180,000 per year. Goleta Airport Pet Hospital provides comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care for small animals as part of PetVet Care Centers’ mission to improve the lives of animals and people. The veterinarian examines and treats patients, performs diagnostic procedures and surgery, and communicates care options to clients. The role also supports hospital operations by maintaining records, monitoring cases and protocols, and working with the Hospital Manager and clinical team.

What you'll do

• Conduct comprehensive patient exams and medical work-ups
• communicate with and educate clients
• perform diagnostic procedures, surgery, and dental care
• maintain accurate medical records
• prescribe medications and follow controlled-substance protocols
• promote teamwork and staff efficiency
• coordinate weekly priorities with the Hospital Manager
• monitor hospital cases and protocols
• participate in practice-management updates and training.
