Special Education Aide/Paraprofessional

The Special Education Aide/Paraprofessional is a full-time onsite role based in Nashville, TN. Compensation is $19+ per hour. This position supports the Delta-T Group Inc. team in providing services to children in the Nashville metro area. This role exists to support and reinforce classroom objectives and meet IEP goals. It contributes to the students' success by providing instructional support, assisting with personal care, and maintaining positive relationships with students and staff.

What you'll do

• Adapt classroom activities, assignments, and materials under the direction of the supervising teacher.
• Administer tests, homework, and make-up work.
• Assist in the personal care of students such as feeding and diapering.
• Complete reports on attendance, student progress, and other documentation.
• Supervise students during classroom activities, lunch, recess, and other school-related events.
• Provide instructional support to students with special needs.
• Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
