What you'll do

• Assess patients through examinations and diagnostic testing
• take vital signs, collect samples, administer medications or vaccines, and treat wounds
• assist veterinarians during examinations and surgery
• prepare and dispense medications as directed
• maintain records, sanitation, and inventory
• communicate with pet owners and the veterinary team
• assist with emergency and ICU procedures, including monitoring vital signs, placing IV catheters, drawing blood, and taking X-rays.
