The After School Group Leader role is onsite in Lihue, HI, with pay of $18–$21 per hour. The schedule is Monday–Friday afternoons, approximately 1:45 PM–4:40 PM, with an earlier start around 12:30 PM on Wednesdays; no evenings, weekends, or major holidays. Kamaʻāina Kids is a locally owned nonprofit childcare provider serving children in Hawaiʻi. The Group Leader creates a safe, engaging after-school environment where children can learn, play, and thrive. The role supports children’s development through recreation, enrichment, homework help, positive behavior, and inclusive relationships, while working alongside a supportive team.

• Lead recreational activities, games, and enrichment projects
• supervise children during indoor and outdoor play
• support homework completion and academic success
• encourage positive behavior and character development
