Overnight Sleep Shift Direct Support Professional (DSP)

The Overnight Sleep Shift Direct Support Professional (DSP) role is onsite at a residential location in Libertyville, IL. The schedule is 10:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m., and compensation is $15 per hour. Lambs Farm supports adults with developmental disabilities in leading meaningful and fulfilling lives in an inclusive community. The DSP helps maintain Participants’ safety, well-being, independence, and quality of life overnight. The employee may sleep onsite when Participants are settled and no support is needed, but must remain available to respond promptly and assist with routines, care plans, medication passes, documentation, and emergencies.

What you'll do

• Remain onsite and available throughout the 10:00 p.m.–9:00 a.m. shift
• sleep onsite during designated hours when no assistance is needed
• respond to Participant needs, emergencies, health concerns, and behavioral situations
• support evening and morning routines and activities of daily living
• follow individualized care plans
• administer medications as assigned and in accordance with certification requirements
• monitor and report health and safety concerns
• complete records and communicate with incoming staff.
