Senior Living Chaplain

The Senior Living Chaplain role is onsite across communities in Rosemount, Farmington, and Apple Valley, Minnesota. Compensation is $62,000–$66,000 per year. Lifespark Senior Living communities support residents in aging and living according to their choices. The chaplain provides spiritual care and emotional support to residents and their families or caregivers, coordinating with other spiritual counselors when needed. The role contributes to resident wellbeing and individualized care by offering spiritual guidance, services, and input to interdisciplinary teams and care plans.

What you'll do

• Provide spiritual care and emotional support to residents and families or caregivers during change, grief, injury, illness, and joy
• perform religious services and lead prayer and rituals according to denominational endorsement or client preference
• coordinate care with other spiritual counselors
• contribute to interdisciplinary teams, care conferences, and resident plans of care
• attend to freedom of religious and spiritual expression in a pluralistic, multicultural setting.

Why this role

Requires a Master of Divinity or equivalent from an accredited theological seminary, faith-group endorsement and ordination or commissioning, and certification or eligibility for certification by the Association of Professional Chaplains. Clinical Pastoral Education experience or equivalent is preferred.
