Panning Utility Operator

Job overview

The Panning Utility Operator role is onsite in Little Falls, MN, with pay of $18–$20 per hour. The schedule is 7:00 AM–3:00 PM. North Freeze Dry manufactures freeze-dried companion animal food and treats at its Little Falls facility. The operator supports the panning process by preparing and handling product and trays, maintaining quality and sanitation, and assisting production operations. The role helps meet production plans while maintaining accurate records, inventory traceability, and a safe food-manufacturing environment.

What you'll do

• Produce batched recipes to specifications and production plans
• inspect ingredients and in-process materials
• maintain production and rejection records
• perform pre-operational equipment checks and preventive maintenance
• complete quality and sanitation tasks
• report maintenance and quality issues
• use the ERP system for inventory and lot tracking
• prepare trays, place and level product, and move filled trolleys into the freezer
• clean equipment and work areas
• support other lines and process functions
• operate a forklift as necessary.
