Job overview

The First Responder role is onsite in Omaha, NE, with stated pay of $18 per hour. Omaha Performing Arts hosts events across four venues: Holland Performing Arts Center, Orpheum Theater, Steelhouse Omaha, and Tenaska Center for Arts Engagement. The responder provides event-time medical coverage to patrons, artists, and staff. The role supports guest and staff safety through first aid, emergency response, hazard walkthroughs, incident documentation, and coordination with venue teams and outside emergency services.

What you'll do

• Provide first aid and emergency medical response
• conduct pre-event safety walkthroughs
• maintain a visible presence during events
• administer CPR, AED, and first aid as needed
• coordinate with security, operations, and emergency services
• document incidents
• monitor first aid supplies
• assist with evacuations
• follow privacy requirements.
