Accounting Manager

The Accounting Manager role is hybrid in Fairport, NY, with an annual salary range of $90,000–$120,000. The position is part of the finance team and partners with the Controller to support accounting and financial reporting for the business unit. Fairport is the U.S. headquarters for the Radionix sales and marketing organization and a primary site for research, development, engineering, quality, and product management for intrusion detection systems. The manager supports accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting through close activities, accounting operations, controls, and audit readiness. The role also identifies process improvements and contributes to finance initiatives that strengthen the effectiveness of the function.

What you'll do

• Prepare month-, quarter-, and year-end close activities, journal entries, account analyses, and balance-sheet reconciliations
• review general ledger activity
• assist with financial statements and management reports
• investigate discrepancies and variances
• partner with BPO teams
• support accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and cash management
• maintain audit-ready records
• support external audits and statutory, tax, and regulatory reporting
• strengthen internal controls and procedures
• document processes
• identify and implement improvements
• assist the Controller with analysis and special projects. Requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field and 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
