The Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) – Urgent Care role is an onsite, full-time position in Westminster, CO, paying $25–$29 DOE. CityVet is building a new Urgent Care team at its Westminster clinic, with a potential Urgent Care/GP hybrid schedule. The technician supports excellent patient care and clinic productivity by assisting veterinarians with urgent medical and surgical cases and taking on technical and administrative tasks. The role also helps streamline communication among the operating room, front-office staff, and clients.

What you'll do

• Assist veterinarians with urgent medical and surgical cases
• prepare laboratory samples
• interpret cytology and urinalysis samples
• run in-house lab work and prepare samples for send-out analysis
• induce, monitor, and recover anesthetic patients
• prepare cost estimates
• fill prescriptions
• educate clients
• support communication between clinical and front-office teams.
