Physical Therapist Assistant

The Physical Therapist Assistant role is onsite in Westminster, CO. Compensation is $43–$48 per hour. Optimal Home Care’s mission is to improve and restore clients’ lives through quality patient care and specialty health programs. Working under a Physical Therapist’s supervision, the assistant supports rehabilitation care in patients’ homes. The role helps carry out exercise and self-help programs, report visit findings, and maintain progress documentation to support patient goals and continuity of care.

What you'll do

• Assist the Physical Therapist with evaluation and development of rehabilitation plans
• perform routine strengthening and therapeutic exercises as directed
• teach exercise programs to patients and families
• assist patients with self-help devices
• report home-visit outcomes and physical findings
• maintain daily progress notes
• participate in therapy programs and staff development
• complete emergency preparedness training and drills.
