Temporary Groundskeeper

The Temporary Groundskeeper role is onsite in Chicago, IL. Compensation is $21.65 per hour. Allied Universal Facility Management and Janitorial Services provides cleaning, landscaping, and restoration services for commercial facilities. The groundskeeper maintains outdoor areas and performs building rounds to keep the campus clean, orderly, and safe. The role also supports special collections and events and reports maintenance or safety issues encountered during rounds.

What you'll do

• Conduct outdoor rounds
• replace garbage liners, sweep entrances, remove trash, clear snow and ice, apply ice melt, pull weeds, operate snow equipment as needed, top-dress campus areas, and water plants
• assist with special collection rounds and events
• conduct building rounds, reset furniture, clean waste containers and surfaces, check washrooms, replenish supplies, and vacuum or dust-mop
• report maintenance and safety issues.
