What you'll do

• Check the certified menu and confer with the Dietary Manager or Registered Dietitian as needed
• prepare hot and cold menu items
• keep steam-table items supplied
• serve regular and therapeutic foods
• document food and refrigerator/freezer temperatures and diet changes
• prepare resident trays and verify prescribed diets
• fill nourishment orders
• wash and store dishes and cookware
• clean work areas and assist with kitchen cleanup.
